Ann Marshall, 93 years of age of Los Angeles, California passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 30, 2022. Born in Chicago, Illinois on December 16, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Louisa D’Albero and the sibling to her late brothers and sister: Carlo D’Albero, Humberto D’Albero, Louie D’Albero, and Theresa D’Albero Yanez. She was the wife of the late Centrich Marshall and the mother of three children: son Darryl, her late son Larry of California and her daughter Debbie of Arizona. She is also survived by seven grandsons: Mario, Rico, Julio, Darryl, Jr., Dustin, Corey and Austin as well as seven great-grandchildren: Faith, Hope, Charlie, Ryleigh, Lily and twins Jay and Jackson.
Ann was employed for several years with Bank of America and truly loved her job and the people she met and worked with. However, not yet ready for retirement, she went back to work and retired for the last time from the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles where she formed several lasting friendships.
Ann enjoyed getting dressed up with her high heels, getting her hair and her nails done. She never left home unless she looked her best. She loved to sing in English and Italian even if she didn’t know all of the words. And if anyone asked her to dance-she was right there on the dance floor. But what she enjoyed the most was spending time with family and friends. She cooked for anyone who came over always asking, “Are you hungry? Let me fix you something to eat”. She loved helping people, loved dogs and overall loved life. If you needed anything, you could just give her a call and she was there-for a ride, to babysit, a place to stay, or just to talk. She was truly loved and will deeply be missed.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
