Benjamin Jones Jr.

God sends us angels in human form…to comfort our hearts as we walk through a storm. With constant reminders of not giving up…they gently fill our loving cup. When the storm has ended we realize…that God has been with us in human disguise.

Benjamin Jones Jr. was born March 26, 1947 to Doretha Harrison & Benjamin E. Jones Sr. in New Orleans, Louisiana.

He was introduced to Christ early in life by his grandmother Naomi (John) Harrison & beloved that Jesus Christ was Lord of Lords and died for all our sins. He loved life & lived it to the fullest. He was a proud Vietnam era Army Veteran. He absolutely loved his family& had a giving spirit but could be stubborn & set in his ways. He was an avid lover of music & his Second Line skills were unmatched! He met & married his wife of 52 years Antoinette in New Orleans, Louisiana & had three children Robert, Anissa & Derrick.

Benjamin was called home to be with our Lord on December 23, 2022 in Fontana, Ca. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandmother, son Floyd Track, sister Joanne Jones, beloved Aunt Beulah Harrison, Uncle & Aunt Willie & Annie Laura Harrison, Aunts Julia Thomas, Ceola Griffin & Priscilla Jones; cousin/brothers Joseph(Linda) & Raymond Augustus, cousin/sister Gail Brown & beloved nephews Earl Brown Jr., Ismael Durden cousins Linda, Robin & Donna Harrison and daughter in law Arizov Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his dedicated wife Antoinette Jones, his children, Robert Jones, Anissa Jones, Derrick Jones; his grandchildren Jerod Jones, Derek Jones, Gregory Scott Jr., Myah Jones, Anysa Logan & Josiah Jones. Great-grandchildren Erin Jones, Bryson Jones, Gabriel Scott-Donahue & Mateo Scott. His sisters Diette Leblanc(Mike) & Nedrine Kelly, brother Robert Jones (Jackie), Uncle Robert Robertson(Jocelyn), cousins Betty Jones, Beverly Johnson, Willie Harrison Jr, Nicole White, Vanessa Gordon, Brother in law Earl Brown Sr., beloved nieces/nephews Reginald Brown, Wendell Stevenson, Treshon Brown, Damien Jones, EJ Freeman, Robie Jones, Jacqueline Jones & Justine Jones, Great niece Anitra Scott, his best-friend Joseph James & a host of great nieces/nephews, other relatives & friends.
