Clifton Jerome Harris

Clifton Jerome Harris was born May 6th, 1952 in Plaquemine, Louisiana. He was born to Junis Louis Harris and Mac Arthur Elliot Harris. Clifton was the fourth child born of six children. He attended Iberville Elementary in Plaquemine, La.; Seymourville Junior High School in Plaquemine, La.; and he graduated from Dominguez High School in Compton, Ca. He went on to take mechanic classes at Compton College.

Clifton served two years in the Army from 1972-1974. After serving in the military he worked at Compton Unified School District, LAX Airport, and as a security guard. Lastly he worked at the VA Hospital until the time of his death.

Clifton was preceded in death by his father Junis Louis Harris; elder brother Herman Louise Harris, and older sister Maxine Harris McCoy. Clifton was survived by his mother Mac Arthur Harris; his older sister Brenda Jackson; younger sister Penelope Hodges, and younger brother Landry Harris; and a host of nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.
