Ernestine Thomas

Ms. Ernestine Thomas, daughter of the late GO Warren and Mrs. Josiephine Callahan was born on February 27, 1926, in Texarkana, Arkansas. She departed this life on Thursday, August 18, 2022, in a skilled nursing facility in Los Angeles.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister Albert Grifffin, Eugene Holmes, Hoyle Callahan, Jr. and Sue Ella Sauls (Monica). Ms. Thomas was a member of the First AME Church for over sixty years where she was a faithful and active member and a choir member for forty years until her health began to keep her housebound. She was married to the late Charles Thomas (C.T.) for Fifty plus years where they enjoyed entertaining their friends and family to the beat of Jazz. She loved her family and kept in close contact with as many as possible.

In addition, Ms. Thomas worked for Douglas Aircraft briefly, then left for beauty school to become self-employed as a Hair Salon Operator for fifty years.

She leaves to cherish her memories:
