Frederick Jossiah Okumu

Frederick Jossiah Okumu, age 74, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Kaiser South Bay. He was born on January 1, 1947, in Sakwa Waendhe, Kenya to Jorum and Mariam Okumu. He was a graduate of Jamhuri High School and Cal Poly Pomona University. He married Elizabeth Anguka, in Pasadena, California. He worked as an Electrical Engineer for various companies, displaying a wonderful knack for solving problems. Fred truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, chatting with friends and family, listening to music, and debating all current affair topics. Fred had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way.

He was survived by his sons Robert and Paul Okumu, daughter Mariam Berry, grandaughters Noa and Cleo Berry. Grandson Corin Berry, sister Jane Riako Samo, brother Godfrey and Francis Okumu, along with many brother/sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
