Jeannie Faye Chavez

Jeannie Faye Chavez, age 69, passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on December 5, 2020 at their home in Apple Valley, CA after a long battle with emphysema.

Jeannie was born on August 5, 1951 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Jack and Myrtle Atkerson. As a young girl her family ventured to the west coast where she attended Fontana High School.

Jeannie was a caring and passionate person. She loved animals, her 49ers, and had the astonishing gift of remembering birthdays. Most of all she loved her family and friends deeply and unconditionally.

Jeannie is survived by her husband, Henry; her two children Ray Primrose and Jina Sheldon; stepdaughter Denise Chavez; and four grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Teresa Sides; brother Bill Atkerson and several nieces and nephews. All whom Jeannie loved dearly.

Due to Covid restrictions the family will not have a traditional service. They ask that you share your memories of Jeannie on this page.

Jeannie will be greatly missed by many. She is now with the lord in peace, free from pain and suffering.

The sweet memories will be carried on forever.
