Marion Iona Bent

Marion lona Bent was born on January 11, 1938 to Claribell Austin and Ralph Andrews in Belize City, Belize. She was the first of six children.

As a child she attended St. Johns Primary School. She was a member of the Girl Scouts Organization. Marion had a son, Eddison from a previous relationship and later met and married Norman E. Bent Sr. and had five children from this union. Marion was a homemaker in Belize and was also involved in various organizations. Marion loved to support the community by her involvement in fund raisers and the Angelican Church and school in Belize.

Marion later migrated to the United States in 1980, where she worked in the domestic field for some years. Later attending West LA Community College earning a degree in Child Development. Marion founded and directed her own preschool Montessori School on the Westside of Los Angeles in 1996.

Marion leaves to cherish her wonderful memories, her husband and five children. Husband, Norman Bent Sr. Sons, Eddison Andrews, Norman Bent Jr. and Dwayne Bent. Daughters, Carla Bent (Deceased), Beverly Bent-Sanford and Bernadette Bent. Marion also leaves behind a brother Ralph Andrews, a sister Lorriane Williams and a host of Grand Children and Great Grand Children, nieces and nephews, family and friends.

Marion will be greatly missed.
