Melvin Ray Wallander

Our dad, Melvin Ray Wallander, peacefully passed away in Victorville, CA on May 27, 2020 surrounded by his family. He was born June 11, 1945 in East Los Angeles, CA and lived most of his life in Riverside, CA and Newport, WA. Our dad served for our country in the Navy. He was uncommonly kind and loved The Lord. He is remembered for singing “Old Time” songs and being fun-loving and playful.

He is survived by his wife Theresa and brother Philip Wallander and sister-in-law Dorothy. He is also survived by his six children Michael, Anna, Jody, Jennifer, Melvin, and Barbara as well as his four stepchildren John Lee, William, Howard, and Chantel. He also had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
