Mildred Kaye Farmer passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 12, 2023 in Rancho Cucamonga, California. She was born November 12, 1936 in Los Angeles, California to Spencer Arnold Earnshaw and Helen Scott Douglas Earnshaw. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ercell Farmer and her siblings, Helen Marie Thompson, William Earnshaw, Dorothy Morton, and Janet Minnerath.
Mildred graduated from John C. Fremont High School, Los Angeles and then continued her education at UCLA where she received a Bachelor of Arts in History. She taught High School English and met Ercell while they both taught in Malibu and Santa Monica. During their vacation time, they loved to travel the world. Their destinations included England, Scotland, France, Israel and Egypt. Mildred always had exciting storied to tell about her adventures. She became a talented artist, displaying her works in various galleries in Los Angeles.
Her nieces and nephews will remember her as their “fancy” aunt. She had a flare and style all her own. She was generous and always wanted to give things to people who visited her. She is loved and will be missed by those who knew her.
