Reynaldo Garcia Demabildo

Reynaldo Garcia Demabildo, 71, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home in the morning of May 20, 2022. His wife, Eleanor, daughters Reggie, Richelle and Dada, grandchildren Arielle, Lauren&Isabella  and Gabriel and Sabrina (via video call from Japan and Philippines) was by his side at the time of his death.

Rey or Insoy was born on October 6, 1950 to Esteban and Mansueta Garcia Demabildo in Dumangas, Iloilo Province in the Philippines. He was the eldest son of four.

He joined the Philippines Navy and Coastguard in his early life. He was a public servant and an advocate of helping kids who needs help in education.

He left the Philippines on 2005 along with his wife for United States and worked at Target for almost 9 years. He flew back to the Philippines multiple times for vacation, and it was always happy times with family and friends back to his home town.

He was diagnosed with GIST since 2014. But even before that, he was positively living his life. He quoted on several occasions, "When we are born in this world, God already knows when He will take us away from it".

Manong, Tito, Pre, Coastguard to relatives, friends and acquaintances. But he will always and forever be Papa to his wife, daughters and grandchildren and even to his adopted children and grandchildren.
