Robert Ramirez Velasquez

Robert R. Velasquez "RV", passed away March 31, 2022 in Ontario.  A longtime resident of Upland, Robert was born September 19, 1948 in Woodland, CA.  He worked at the Claremont Colleges for 35 years.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Marciala Velasquez; his son and daughter-in-law Anthony and Yolanda Velasquez, his daughter Antionette Velasquez, his four loving grandchildren, Adriana, Alejandra, Amalia and Angelo.

RV loved to socialize, laugh and be surrounded by his family and friends.  He will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, talking on the phone and his love of cars. RV could talk to anyone and enjoyed striking up a conversation with everyone he encountered. He centered his life around his faith and could always be counted on to say a special prayer for you whenever you were in need. RV will be missed by many.

A Catholic mass will be celebrated on April 29, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 877 N. Campus Ave, Upland, CA 91786.
